Damlatas cave<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Damlata\u015f\nCave was found in 1948 when it was opened for stone pit during construction of\nport. Cave is on the west coast of the historical Alanya Castle. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The so-called drops of water in the cave were created in\n15000 years. Even today, the drops of water are dripping, which is why the cave\nwas called Damlatas. The cave is so well known today because the air in the\ncave is very healthy for the respiratory tract (especially for the asthma\nsufferer) and its beauty. The air in the cave does not change. In\nthe weather of cave there are %71 nitrogen, % 20,5 oxygen, 2,5\/10.000 (two and\nhalf to ten thousands) CO2 and some radioactive ion. 
\nIt is the first cave which was opened to tourism in Turkey. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Alanya castle<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The castle has a great importance to Alanya. It is the\nmost important landmark of the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the early days it was used for strategic distribution\nand centuries existed in Alanya only on the mountain on which the castle\nstands. The castle walls stretch from the top of the hill to the red tower.\nWith the peak jutting into the sea, access to intruder was nearly impossible.\nSo you could attack them only over land, because there were only a few warships\nin the area at the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can commit the castle for a fee and also partly\ninside the castle. Preserved parts of the castle can be viewed by Middle. You\ncan reach the castle by bus or cable car (explanation follows). It can also be\nfun to walk down the castle path.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The harbor<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also emerged as the earlier time and was used for the\nships. Today there are the so-called pirate ships with which you can make a\ntour around the castle, but there are many different offers. From time to time\nthere also holds a large cruise ship, which used to be more regular. At the\nharbor promenade many small stalls for the small hunger find. Red tower<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Red Tower is the 2nd important landmark of Alanya. It\nwas also built in the heyday of Alanya. It served as protection of the port and\nthe shipyard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are on the way to the castle, the tower is an\nideal starting point. The tower is 33 meters high and you have a great view of\nthe harbor and the castle hill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The entrance fee is paid. The shipyard is rather an\nunknown sight in Alanya. Although it is located directly under the castle, it\nis easy to miss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A narrow path leads from the Red Tower over the seawalls\nto the Seljuk shipyard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There is a museum telling the story of shipbuilding in\nAlanya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lighthouse is also located at the harbor. At the end,\nin the direction of the Red Tower, turn left (there are some restaurants). Then\ngo up the stairs and left again on the long rock path. This leads directly to\nthe lighthouse. The lighthouse can be entered up to the top. From there you can\nsee both the daytime and the evening the charming harbor, the castle and part\nof the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cableway<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cable car in Alanya is 900 meters long and provides\naccess to the Ehmedek Citadel, which is located at a height of 300 meters at\nthe castle. The cable car was put into operation in 2017 and can carry 1130\npeople per hour with 17 cabins. The use is subject to charges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The view while driving will inspire you because you can\nsee completely the Kleopatra beach, the Damlata\u015f cave and the city itself. This\nis most worthwhile during the day, but in the evening it still looks beautiful.\nIt will be worth it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

City \u200b\u200bterrace<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

You will find them in the direction of the mountains. In\n2017, it was expanded and you can see the inscription ‘I Love Alanya’ from the\nharbor. From there you can see the complete city of Alanya, the harbor, the\ncastle and of course the sea. The view is beautiful day and night. You can\nenjoy the peace and quiet in a coffee there or sit on one of the many park\nbenches and enjoy the view. On Sundays when the weather is nice you will find\nthe locals at the picnic area and have a barbecue on the terrace. You can reach\nthe terrace by bus or car. You will never forget this view!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Suleymaniye Camii (mosque)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

At Alanya tower berg you will find the inconspicuous\nmosque, which has a lot to offer from the inside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The path from the red tower leads you to the mosque, or a\nbus \/ taxi. Then you have to walk a short distance to get to the mosque\nentrance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In our mosques it is obligatory to take off your shoes in\nfront of the entrance. Also, eye-catching clothing like a mini-skirt should be\navoided, because the shoulders should be covered as well. For women, as in all\nmosques, headscarves and loose pants are used to cover the body. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bazar Alanya and shopping<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The bazaar in the center of Alanya, takes place every\nFriday on a large parking lot (stop Cuma Pazar). There are all kinds of fresh\nfruit and vegetables, which is brought directly from the bazaar. There is also\na selection of clothes and small gifts. The visit is simply part of the trip to\nAlanya. The shops on Atat\u00fcrk Boulevard, in the waterfront district, in the\nAlanyum shopping center and in Konakli make shopping lovers’ hearts beat\nfaster.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The brand dealers offer their products cheaply throughout\nthe year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, Alanya offers a wide range of jewelry stores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(Please pay attention to the customs regulations when\nentering the EU)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the shops bar can be paid in Turkish Lira, Euro or\nDollar. Credit and debit cards are accepted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Archaeological Museum<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The museum is located opposite Kleopatra Beach and\nDamlata\u015f Cave. There you will find excavations from 7000 years, which were\nfound in ruins and surroundings. The entrance fee is paid<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Atat\u00fcrk House<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this house lived the Turkish state founder Mustafa\nKemal Atat\u00fcrk while he was in Alanya. In the 19th century, the house was built\nin traditional Ottoman style. On three floors now a museum was created in honor\nof Mustafa Kemal Atat\u00fcrk. Private objects of Atat\u00fcrk, furniture and much more\nfrom the 19th century are in the museum. Admission is free<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Asiklar \/ A\u015f\u0131klar – Cave of the Lovers<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Asiklar Cave is a cave near the southern tip of the\nAlanya Peninsula. The cave is located high above the sea level and leads like a\nhose from one side to the other side of the massive rock. Experienced climbers\ncan reach the cave from either side of the peninsula.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the port of Alanya, you can view the Cave of Nahu with\none of the ships. During the boat trip around the peninsula, stop at this point\nfor a moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The boat trip is chargeable<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Legend has it that pirates once hid their prey there.\nAnother tells that couples love to spend their time there undisturbed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cleopatra beach<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The beach in front of the Damlata\u015f cave west of the\nhistoric peninsula and has a blue flag. The beach leans against the penis foot.\nThe natural beach framed by rocks looks like a pool and is famous for the fact\nthat the Egyptian Queen Cleopatra and the Roman Emperor Antonius swam here. The\nsmall beach cove resulting from large stones that extends to the peninsula is\ncalled Cleopatra. Dim \u00c7ay<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Is a narrow river, in a narrow valley in the north of\nAlanya. Apart from the cool water, there is an excellent trout restaurant and a\nstalactite cave to see. The river has ettliche restaurants built on the water.\nThey sit on the water and can eat and drink there very well. The river is not\nonly a popular destination for tourists. Even locals find it especially in\nmidsummer in the cafes and restaurants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cold water comes from a dam, which is located above\nthe mountains and can be viewed. You can reach the Dim \u00c7ay by bus or in the\nform of a day trip which you can book in Alanya or at your tour operator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
